It may be famous for terrible weather, but there’s lots to love about the UK. London is one of my favourite cities in the world – there’s always a pub on every corner and a rowdy Englishman to chat to.
I haven’t explored the United Kingdom anywhere near as much as I’d like to.
I’ve been to the majestic city of London three times. Well two and a half if you count that one of those three visits was just a one-night stopover.
The last time I was there was January – February in 2018 and although it was only a year ago, I’m still desperate to get back.
The theatre geek in me is in love with the London West End shows. It’s here that I saw The Book of Mormon and Matilda for the first time. I explored the Tower of London, I rode the London Eye and ate a lot of English pub food. I also visited speakeasy bars, celebrated my birthday in style and drank the most expensive cocktail I’ve ever had at the Shard.
On my last trip, I also made it out to the beautiful town of Bath and also to the English countryside in the form of The New Forest.
I can’t wait to see more.
