indonesia
Beautiful Indonesia. A favourite amongst us Australians, this South East Asian country has fantastic food, gorgeous temples and beautiful islands to explore.
I love Indonesia for a quick holiday close to home.
It’s full of friendly locals and beautiful beaches. I usually try to avoid the really touristy areas of Bali, like Kuta, but the slightly more zen Seminyak or Legian are good alternatives and close to everything.
Hire a moped or a motorbike for a day and get around like the locals do. Or hook up with a taxi or private driver whilst you’re there.
When in Indonesia, stay in a villa with a pool and a butler in Seminyak, explore the monkey forest in Ubud or hop on a jetski at Nusa Dua.
Massages and pedicures are a must, shopping is recommended and beachside sunsets at Ku De Ta are a must do.
Because there are so many of us Aussies that go to Bali regularly, good food is easy to come by here and you can easily find local cuisines.
Bali also boasts some of the nicest international cuisine in kitschy designed venues. For the surfers amongst us, there are many great beaches with waves to die for and divers can find an underwater paradise not far off the coast.
