Hygge and castles abound in this Scandinavian country full of beautiful people and picturesque harbours.
Denmark is somewhere I’ve been super keen to visit for a long time, so I was so happy to finally get there in 2018. Although I only spent time in Copenhagen, I totally fell for this beautiful country and its people and I’ll definitely advocate for anyone to visit in the midst of the Scandinavian summer.
In my short time in Copenhagen, I stayed in the hipster Vesterbro area, surrounded by brunch spots, bars and restaurants. I marvelled at the beauty of Nyhavn, I did a walking tour that taught me all about the Danish concept of hygge and I spent hours enjoying the sun in the Kings Park outside Rosenborg Slot. Summer in Copenhagen is the best.
