Scandinavia is at its peak in beautiful Sweden. The capital, Stockholm is one of the most picturesque cities I’ve ever seen with locals zipping around the harbour and islands by boat.
Sweden is a remarkable place, particularly in the summer when I visited. The sun sets around 10.30pm and the sky stays eerily light ready for sunrise at around 4am again.
I’ve only visited Stockholm with a day trip out to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Drottningholm Slot and experiencing a Swedish summer has only made me hungry for more. I was amazed by the amount of museums in Stockholm, the edginess of fun-loving Sodermalm and the general friendliness of all the people that I met.
I’m definitely going back!
