Where I've Been
35 countries. 5 continents. Countless memories.
I don’t travel to tick boxes—I travel to feel something. To fall in love with a place, its rhythm, its people, its food. And when I do, I go back. Again and again.
But my journey isn’t just about revisiting—it’s about discovering.
Now, travel holds a deeper purpose. It’s not just about what I see, it’s about what I can show my daughters. I want them to grow up knowing the world is wide and welcoming, that different cultures are something to be celebrated, and that adventure can be found anywhere, from a cobblestone street in Europe to a quiet beach in Australia.
Over the years, my travels have gifted me unforgettable experiences. Moments that have shaped me, moved me, and now, inspire the way I explore the world with my family. Some of my favourites are:
- Town hopping through the French Riviera, where each coastal village felt like a postcard come to life.
- Sleeping under the stars in Wadi Rum, surrounded by the silence and majesty of the Jordanian desert.
- Exploring Tokyo with a toddler, re-discovering the joy of travel and Japanese food through her.
- Visiting Rome with a baby, navigating ancient wonders like the Colosseum with a pram and a sense of awe.
- Taking my parents on their first trip to Asia, watching them experience the beauty of cultures so different from their own.
- Getting engaged in Malta, overlooking the golden rooftops of Valletta. A moment that turned a beautiful trip into a lifelong memory.
Each of these highlights reminds me why I travel: for connection, for discovery, and now, to share the wonder of the world with my daughters.
There are still so many places I’ve yet to return to, and even more I’ve yet to discover. The list may grow, but the heart of my travels remains the same: connection, curiosity, and the joy of sharing it all with the people I love.
